Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, (POWERGRID) has been conferred “CBIP Award 2016” for “Best Performing Power Transmission Utility” and I.S. Jha, Chairman & Managing Director, POWERGRID has been bestowed “CBIP Award 2016” for his outstanding contributions in Power Transmission Sector.
POWERGRID has been awarded for its outstanding contribution to the Nation consistently by setting highest benchmarks in Power Transmission and ushering advance and innovative technologies to meet future challenges in Transmission sector in the country.
These awards were presented by Hon’ble Minister for Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Uma Bharti at a function held in SCOPE, New Delhi.
