Mumbai, Feb 1 (IANS): A powerful step towards a developed India was how Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis described the Union Budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
He emphasized the budget’s focus on planned urbanization, industry promotion, and investment, highlighting a Rs 12 lakh crore infrastructure investment and provisions for agriculture and health.
Key initiatives include the Lakhpati Didi scheme for women, new hostels for girls, and improved medical facilities. Sitharaman outlined three duties to support India’s economic growth while focusing on the underprivileged, aiming for productivity, inclusive development, and equitable resource access.
