Dr. Hanumanthu Purushotham assumed charge as the Chairman and Managing Director of National Research Development Corporation (NRDC) on 22nd January, 2015. Prior to this assignment, he was Scientist-G & Head of Knowledge Management Centre of International Advanced Research Centre for Powder Metallurgy & New Materials (ARCI), Deptt. of Science & Technology, Govt. of India, located at Hyderabad.
He has about 30 years of diverse experience across the innovation value chain in different industry verticals. Earlier, he was with CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat; NCBM- Ballabgarh/Delhi; CSIR-CLRI, Chennai; ANIIDCO Ltd., Portblai; Technology Development Board of DST and NeGP-DeitY, New Delhi and served in different capacities.
