NLCIL Is Conducting Special Coaching Classes For The Project Affected Persons (PAPs) Who Intend To Appearin The Written Exam Conducted For Recruiting Mining Engineering Diploma Holders

New Delhi, Dec 19: NLC India Limited has started special coaching classesat Group Vestibule Training Centre (GVTC), Neyvelion 16.12.2022 for the Project Affected Persons (PAPs) who intend toappear in the written examination to be conducted for recruiting Mining Engineering Diploma holdersto work in various statutory posts in the mines of NLC India Limited.

192 vacancies:

NLC India has three lignite mines operating in Neyveli, Tamil Nadu. From these mines, 3 crore tonnes of ligniteis mined every year and electricity is generated from it. The company had recently advertised to recruit people with a diploma in mining engineering to work in statutory posts in these mines.

In the advertisement, Neyveli Mines has a total of 192 vacancies in three categories of Junior Overman, Junior Surveyor and Mining Sirdar. While Junior Overman and Junior Surveyor will get a monthly salary of Rs. 65,000/-, theMining Sirdar will get a monthly salary of Rs. 55,000/-.

With the good intention of educating the PAPs, NLC India Limited is conducting a three-year diploma course in Mining Engineering in association with Annamalai University, Chidambaram.50 percent of the total seatsin the Mining Engineering Diploma course are given only to the Project Affected Persons (PAPs), and it is noteworthy that 50 percent of the tuition fee is being paid by NLCIL itself.

Bonus marks:

The Project Affected Persons (PAPs) who have given their lands to the company and received education through the company, will be given an additional bonus of 20 marks in the written examination, which will be advantageous for them. In addition to this, the company is also providing special coaching to the PAPs to perform well in the written examination of this recruitment.

On 16.12.2022, A. Rajasekhara Reddy, Executive Director/Mines & Services, NLCIL, inaugurated thespecial coachingclasses at Group Vestibule Training Centre (GVTC), Block-20, Neyveli. A total of 43 PAPs who intend to apply for the above posts participated in this special coaching which will be held for a week. This special coaching will be provided by Mining Engineers of NLC India Limitedwho render faculty services at GVTC for training the employees who are working in the mines of NLCIL.

Last Date to Apply:

As the last day to apply for these posts is till the end of this month, the number of people who intend to apply for these posts and participate in this special coaching is expected to increase.
