NTPC Kawas has bagged the National Energy Conservation Award 2015 in Gas Power Station Category. Piyush Goyal, Minister of State(Independent Charge) for Power, Coal and New & Renewable Energy presented the award during the National Energy Conservation Day function held in New Delhi on 14th December,2015. The award was received by A.K.Jha, CMD,NTPC along with S.S.Mani, GM(Kawas) for excellence in Energy Conservation and Management . P.K. Pujari, Secretary to Govt. of India, Ministry of Power and senior officials of the Ministry and Bureau of Energy Efficiency were present on the occasion.

S K Seth,AGM(Law), NTPC Lucknow also received the Best Nodal State officer (UP) for encouraging and enabling high participation in the National Painting Competition.
