MRPL Mangaluru Organises National Hindi Seminar on Official Language and Inclusion

Mangaluru, Feb 10: Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) held a National Hindi Seminar titled “Evolving Journey of Official Language with Harmony and Inclusion” on February 9, 2026, at the MRPL Recreation Centre, inaugurated by Kumar Pal Sharma, Joint Director from the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Dr. Dheeraj Kumar Mishra served as the Guest of Honour, while Krishna Hegde Miyar, the General Manager (HR) of MRPL, presided over the event. In his address, Miyar highlighted India’s linguistic and cultural diversity and emphasized that Hindi, as the Official Language, plays a crucial role in fostering national unity and consciousness.

He called for the development of Hindi to incorporate all linguistic communities, reflecting the nation’s true essence.

The seminar featured five informative sessions attended by approximately 200 participants from various Public Sector Undertakings, Central Government offices, and local institutions associated with Mangalore University, enhancing awareness and inclusion related to the official language.
