New Delhi, March 06: Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd. (MRPL) Aromatics Unit has bagged 1stprize among Factories in the Oil Industry for 2023.
This award was given in recognition of the excellent Disaster Mitigation and Emergency Preparedness implemented by MRPL Aromatics Complex. This award is being given away by the Department of Factories, Boilers, Industrial Safety & Health, Govt. of Karnataka.
The award was presented duringthe‘National Safety Day Celebrations 2023’ functionheld at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) Management Academy, Bengaluru,on 4th March 2023.
Mundkur Shyam prasad Kamath, ED (Refinery) and B Sudarshan, GGM (Marketing Projects), Kunal Singh Sikarwar Asst. Manager (HSE-F&S) & YogendraBabuAsstt. Manager (HSE-F&S) from MRPL received the award.
Dr Mahesh Bhalgat, Chief Operating Officer M/s. Syngene International Ltd. presented the award in the presence of K. Srinivas, Director of Factories, Boilers, Industrial Safety and Health and Secretary, Karnataka State Safety Institute.
