New Delhi, April 17: Ministry of Steel and Russian officials held a high-level round table in New Delhi to review ongoing engagement and identify new avenues for cooperation in the steel sector.
The meeting was co-chaired by senior ministry officials and Mikhail Iurin, bringing together industry stakeholders from both countries for strategic discussions.
Key focus areas included raw material sourcing, technology collaboration, equipment manufacturing and research partnerships across the steel value chain. Both sides also assessed the current status of bilateral engagement and explored opportunities to scale cooperation.
The discussions emphasised innovation, capacity building and deeper industrial integration, reflecting the long-standing strategic partnership between India and Russia.
Both countries reaffirmed their commitment to sustained dialogue and expanding cooperation, with a shared intent to unlock new growth opportunities in the steel and allied sectors.
