New Delhi, April 29: Armenia and India have stepped up defence cooperation with high-level engagements in New Delhi, focusing on joint military development and operational collaboration. Edvard Asryan, Chief of the General Staff of Armenia’s Armed Forces, met Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh to discuss strengthening bilateral defence ties.
During his visit, Asryan also held talks with A. P. Singh, focusing on enhancing interoperability and air power cooperation. Separate discussions with Chief of Defence Staff Anil Chauhan explored opportunities for joint ventures in military hardware development.
Both sides reviewed ongoing cooperation and agreed to expand engagement across multiple professional domains, signalling a steady deepening of strategic defence relations between India and Armenia.
