Davos, Jan 20 (IANS): International investors are increasingly recognizing India, especially Maharashtra, as a key investment destination with significant opportunities, according to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at the World Economic Forum.
He emphasized the strong confidence global funds have in India’s growth and noted that investments are sourced from diverse sectors, with ongoing discussions with international companies.
Maharashtra has a higher conversion rate of Memorandums of Understanding into real projects, reportedly between 55-60%, and surpassing 70% for MoUs signed at Davos.
The state aims to attract more foreign investment through its newly inaugurated pavilion at Davos, highlighting its strengths in industry and innovation.
