Bhubaneswar, Dec 4 (IANS): Odisha will host the Global Energy Leaders’ Summit (GELS) 2025 in Puri from December 5 to 7, aiming to shape India’s energy roadmap.
The summit will gather leaders from the Union government, 15 Indian states, and over 30 energy experts under the theme “Powering India: Sufficiency, Balance, Innovation”.
The focus will be on ensuring adequate power, harmonizing ecological needs with economic activities, and fostering technological and policy innovations.
The Deputy Chief Minister described GELS 2025 as a crucial platform for states to share insights on energy reforms and engage in discussions on key topics like power trading and grid security.
The summit will formally open on December 6, led by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.
