New Delhi, Nov 18: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on November 17, 2025, between Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV) and the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) to foster joint research in critical areas such as Logistics Management, Chip Design, and Advanced Encryption Technologies.
The collaboration aims to develop technological solutions to enhance national security and improve operational logistics for indigenous defense systems. Dr. Samir V. Kamat highlighted the significance of this partnership in building capacity in military science and logistics.
GSV, established in 2022 as India’s first University in the Transportation and Logistics sector, has ongoing collaborations with all branches of the Indian Armed Forces, and this MoU is expected to further strengthen its contributions in defense-related research.
