New Delhi, 27.11.2015: Dr. N. Mohapatra, has taken charge of the Director (Personnel) of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL). Prior to this he was, Executive Director (Personnel) at SAIL’s IISCO Steel Plant, Burnpur and Bokaro Steel Plant, Bokaro.
Dr. Mohapatra is a doctorate in History. He joined SAIL as Junior Manager in the year 1980 at Bhilai Steel Plant and handled many important portfolios in the areas of Personnel Management, Human Resource Development and Administration to rise to the rank of Executive Director. During his long tenure at SAIL he has made significant contributions in the areas of improvement of employee productivity as well as application of IT in HR function.
