Visibility issues affected multiple airports, prompting airlines like Air India and IndiGo to warn travelers to monitor flight updates. Air India’s ‘FogCare’ initiative provides flight rescheduling or refunds, while IndiGo highlighted weather-related delays at Guwahati and other locations.
The situation is exacerbated by poor air quality, with Delhi’s Air Quality Index at 372. Weather forecasts predict slight improvements in visibility later in the day.
