New Delhi, January 8: Commemorative coins of Rs.50 and Rs.5 denomination have been issued by Govt. of India on the occasion of BHEL’s Golden Jubilee.
The coins were released at a glittering ceremony by Anant Geete, Union Minister of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises in the presence of G.M. Siddeshwara, Union Minister of State for Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises. Dr. R.S. Katoch, Secretary, Heavy Industry and B. Prasada Rao, CMD, BHEL were also present on the occasion. A Coffee Table Book, capturing the journey of the Maharatna’s fifty years of engineering excellence was also released on the occasion G.M. Siddeshwara, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises.
