Lucknow, Feb 1: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath praised the Union Budget 2026-27, calling it a roadmap for a “New and Developed India.”
He expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for their leadership and the budget’s formulation at Kartyava Bhavan.
The budget focuses on aspirations of 1.45 billion Indians, with increased capital expenditure exceeding Rs 12 lakh crore, funding infrastructure, healthcare, and women’s initiatives.
Adityanath highlighted reforms that support youth, women, farmers, and entrepreneurs, and welcomed a new Income Tax Act aimed at simplifying tax processes. The budget aims to accelerate India’s economic growth and present it as a fast-growing economy moving towards a Viksit Bharat.
