New Delhi, Jan 16: The Bharat Electricity Summit 2026, scheduled for March 19-22 in New Delhi, aims to unite key stakeholders to discuss sustainable energy solutions.
Union Minister of Power Manohar Lal announced the event, highlighting its theme “Electrifying Growth. Empowering Sustainability. Connecting Globally.” The summit will focus on India’s leadership in global energy transition, presenting challenges and opportunities within the sector.
It will feature over 50 high-level conference sessions, expert-led panel discussions, and showcases from more than 500 exhibitors, expecting over 25,000 attendees and 1,000 delegates globally.
The summit will serve as a platform for policymakers, CEOs, and experts to engage in discussions influencing the electricity value chain from generation to distribution and smart consumption.
A notable component will be a ‘Buyer Seller Meet’ aimed at fostering collaborations and enhancing business opportunities in the power supply chain, thereby promoting investments in clean electricity.
Minister Manohar Lal emphasized that the summit symbolizes India’s commitment to advancing electricity systems and marks a shift from addressing shortages to managing energy surpluses.
He called the event a pivotal opportunity for technology providers and innovators to collaborate, establishing a sustainable and resilient future for the electricity sector. The preparations involve collaboration among various ministries, industry bodies, and international representatives, aiming to create a comprehensive vision for India’s electricity landscape.
