Adani Energy Solutions Ties Up Japanese Funding for 6,000 MW Renewable Corridor

Ahmedabad, Feb 9: Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL) has secured long-term financing from a consortium of Japanese banks for a 6,000 MW HVDC transmission project aimed at enhancing renewable power flow in northern India.

This 950-kilometre corridor, linking Bhadla in Rajasthan to Fatehpur in Uttar Pradesh, is scheduled for commissioning by 2029 and will support the integration of renewable energy and further stabilize the grid.

This project, a key part of India’s green transmission infrastructure, benefits from advanced technology provided by Hitachi and is backed by major Japanese financial institutions, reinforcing the India-Japan partnership in sustainable energy.
