No LPG Shortage IndianOil Delivering 28 Lakh Cylinders Daily

Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri explains reduction in subsidised LPG cylinder refills under Ujjwala Yojana

If you’re worried about LPG availability, here’s some relief—Indian Oil Corporation (IndianOil) says there is no shortage of cooking gas across the country.

The company is currently delivering around 28 lakh LPG cylinders every day, and supply remains stable and normal, even with ongoing global uncertainties.

IndianOil has urged customers not to panic or stockpile cylinders, assuring that everything is under control and being closely monitored.

Easy Booking & Safe Delivery

Most customers are now booking LPG refills digitally:

  • About 87% bookings happen via SMS and IVRS
  • Deliveries are verified using OTP (DAC system) to ensure cylinders reach the right household

The company is also actively resolving customer issues through its official support channels.

Support for Migrant Workers

To improve accessibility, 5 kg FTL cylinders are being regularly supplied to migrant workers against valid ID proof, making it easier for them to access cooking gas.

Stay Alert, Avoid Rumours

IndianOil has advised people to:

  • Ignore fake or misleading information on social media
  • Book LPG only through official channels
  • Avoid unsafe practices like storing petrol in bottles, which is illegal and dangerous

Bottom Line

There is no disruption in LPG supply, and consumers can continue booking refills normally without any concern.
