New Delhi, Jan 05: In a move to enhance access to safe drinking water while promoting renewable energy, NTPC Limited – Bongaigaon signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Cosmic Foundation on 2 February 2026.
The agreement involves installing 10 Solar Water Reverse Osmosis (RO) Systems in Guwahati, at a total cost of ₹43 lakh. Each system will feature a 1200 Wp MNRE-approved solar module and a 500-litre storage capacity.
NTPC’s commitment to community welfare and the integration of renewable energy into its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives align with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG)-6, aiming to improve public health and promote sustainable infrastructure in the region.
