New Delhi, Jan 28: The 77th Republic Day was celebrated at NLCIL with traditional fervour, showcasing 9 thematic Tableaus for the first time.
The Vigilance Department’s tableau highlighted the theme “Transparent India Starts with a Vigilant You!”, promoting personal responsibility against corruption. It incorporated extracts from the Thirukkural, emphasizing integrity as a lifelong virtue, and employed visual metaphors like the “Split Persona” to depict the battle between greed and duty.
Messages such as “Corruption is paid by the poor” underscored the societal impact of dishonesty. The event emphasized nurturing future ethical leaders through a gallery of Integrity Clubs and ended with the “Blue Vigil Box”, signaling the need for active vigilance in eradicating corruption, reminding that change begins with individual action.
