New Delhi, Jan 26 (IANS): Several nations, including the US, Australia, Japan, Finland, and Sri Lanka, extended their wishes to India on its 77th Republic Day.
US Ambassador Sergio Gor praised the Republic Day Parade, emphasizing the US-India partnership. Japanese Ambassador Ono Keiichi expressed warm wishes and highlighted India’s cultural richness.
Australia’s High Commissioner Philip Green shared greetings in local languages, marking the day as both Republic Day and Australia Day. Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Finland’s Embassy also sent greetings, celebrating India’s sovereignty and the principles of its Constitution including justice and equality.
