Davos, Jan 22 (IANS): Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced at the World Economic Forum that the global industry is increasingly viewing Bharat as a reliable supply-chain partner, largely due to its advancements in semiconductor and artificial intelligence ecosystems.
He emphasized Bharat’s comprehensive semiconductor ecosystem, encompassing design, fabrication, packaging, and materials, which helps reduce import dependence and fosters global collaboration.
Vaishnaw also highlighted international confidence from companies like Google, which is investing $15 billion in an AI data center in Visakhapatnam and forming partnerships with Indian startups. This reflects India’s growing significance as a hub for innovation and technology in high-tech manufacturing.
