New Delhi, Jan 22: NTPC Bongaigaon conducted a three-day Management Development Programme on “Practicing Strategic Leadership” from January 19 to 21, 2026, in collaboration with IIM Shillong.
The initiative targeted mid-level executives, aiming to enhance their leadership skills and prepare them for organizational challenges. Inaugurated by Arnab Maitra, the program emphasized the importance of strategic leadership in a dynamic work environment.
Academic sessions led by Dr. Sitanshu Shekhar Das and Dr. Priya Alat focused on the SMILE Framework, addressing leadership in relation to Gen Z and Gen Alpha.
Twenty-three executives participated, sharing case studies and gaining insights into effective decision-making, people management, and fostering a culture of trust and continuous learning, reinforcing NTPC’s commitment to leadership development and organizational excellence.
