New Delhi, Jan 20: India and the UAE aim to double bilateral trade to $200 billion by 2032, as announced by Prime Minister Modi and President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

They acknowledged the growth in trade since the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement in 2022, which reached $100 billion in FY 2024-25. The leaders emphasized the need to connect Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and implement key initiatives to promote their products.

Collaboration on food security, energy, and nuclear technology was highlighted, alongside deepening cooperation in space, AI, and technology sectors, aiming for an integrated space ecosystem and enhanced cross-border payment efficiency.
