HUDCO Bags ‘Excellent’ MoU Rating for FY25

HUDCO Raises ₹1,442 Crore via Perpetual Tier I Bonds; Issue Subscribed Five Times

New Delhi, Jan 14: HUDCO (Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd.), a Navratna NBFC-IFC, has received an ‘Excellent’ rating under its Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs for the financial year 2024–25, achieving a score of 97.90 out of 100.

This marks the second consecutive year HUDCO has attained this prestigious rating, distinguishing itself among financial-sector peers.

The corporation excelled in 9 out of 12 performance parameters, demonstrating 100% compliance in key areas that highlight its strong governance, operational efficiency, and social responsibility.

Notable achievements include sustained profitability and improved shareholder returns, robust asset quality ensuring financial stability, excellent loan efficiency for urban housing development, and full compliance with GeM and TReDS, promoting transparency in business practices. Additionally, HUDCO has engaged in meaningful CSR initiatives and emphasized employee wellbeing through innovative health and safety programs.

Chairman Sanjay Kulshrestha attributed this success to HUDCO’s commitment to excellence and accountability, reinforcing the company’s role as a trusted CPSE and its dedication to sustainable financing that aligns with the national vision for an inclusive urban future under the Viksit Bharat initiative.
