New Delhi, Jan 08: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has received an order from Bharat Coal Gasification and Chemicals Limited (BCGCL), a joint venture with Coal India Limited, for the Coal Gasification and Raw Syngas Cleaning Package for its Coal-to-2000 TPD Ammonium Nitrate Project located in Jharsuguda, Odisha.
This order encompasses engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and performance guarantees for facilities that are essential to the integrated chemical complex.
The work scope includes the gasifier and its auxiliaries, a steam generation plant, an air separation unit, coal and ash handling systems, and cooling tower facilities. Notably, the project will utilize BHEL’s Pressurised Fluidised Bed Gasification (PFBG) technology, marking its first commercial-scale deployment.

नई दिल्ली, जनवरी 8: भारत हेवी इलेक्ट्रिकल्स लिमिटेड (बीएचईएल) ने भारत कोल गैसीफिकेशन एंड केमिकल्स लिमिटेड (बीसीजीसीएल), जो कि बीएचईएल और कोल इंडिया लिमिटेड (सीआईएल) का संयुक्त उद्यम है, से झारसुगुड़ा, ओडिशा में अपनी कोल-टू-2000 टीपीडी अमोनियम नाइट्रेट परियोजना के लिए कोयला गैसीकरण और रॉ सिनगैस क्लीनिंग पैकेज का अनुबंध प्राप्त किया है।
इस अनुबंध के अंतर्गत कोयला गैसीकरण और रॉ सिनगैस क्लीनिंग सुविधाओं की इंजीनियरिंग, खरीद, निर्माण, कमीशनिंग और प्रदर्शन गारंटी शामिल है, जो एकीकृत रासायनिक परिसर की मुख्य प्रक्रिया इकाइयां हैं। कार्य के दायरे में गैसीफायर और संबंधित सहायक उपकरण, स्टीम जनरेशन प्लांट, एयर सेपरेशन यूनिट, कोयला और राख हैंडलिंग सिस्टम और कूलिंग टावर सुविधाएं शामिल हैं।
इस परियोजना में बीएचईएल की इन-हाउस विकसित प्रेशराइज्ड फ्लूडाइज्ड बेड गैसीफिकेशन (पीएफबीजी) तकनीक का उपयोग किया जाएगा तथा यह इसका पहला वाणिज्यिक-स्तर का अनुप्रयोग होगा।
