New Delhi, Dec 15: NTPC Bongaigaon celebrated National Energy Conservation Day, led by Arnab Maitra, Head of Project, who took a pledge for energy conservation alongside other senior officials and employees.
A walkathon was organized to promote judicious energy use, emphasizing zero wastage and the environmental importance of energy conservation towards a sustainable future.
Activities including painting, essay competitions, and slogans engaged employees and their families to enhance awareness. This day, observed annually on December 14 in India, serves to highlight the importance of energy conservation in reducing climate change and transitioning to renewable energy sources.
