New Delhi, Dec 12: In a week of volatility in the debt markets, Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd. (HUDCO) raised ₹1,905 crore through a bond issuance at a competitive coupon of 6.98%.
This success occurred despite a backdrop of rising corporate bond yields and two PSU issuers canceling their planned issuances due to unmet expectations. HUDCO’s ability to secure funding below secondary market levels highlights its strong credit profile and investor confidence.
Chairman Sanjay Kulshrestha emphasized HUDCO’s commitment to optimizing costs for sustainable infrastructure development, supporting the Government of India’s vision for Viksit Bharat by 2047.
