Patna, Nov 22: Nitish Kumar, after being sworn in as Bihar Chief Minister for a tenth time, has allocated portfolios to 26 ministers in his new Cabinet, which includes members from various parties such as the Janata Dal-United and BJP.
Significant changes see the Home Department, previously held by Kumar, now under Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary, who also handled Finance.
Other key appointments include Vijay Kumar Sinha overseeing Revenue and Mining, Mangal Pandey retaining Health and law, and various portfolios assigned for departments like Agriculture, Tourism, and Social Welfare.
Notably, both Choudhary and Kumar retain crucial roles in governance, indicating a strategic cabinet formation to manage Bihar’s administration effectively.
