Ontario, Nov 12 (IANS): EAM S. Jaishankar and Canadian FM Anita Anand met during the G7 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Niagara to discuss enhancing cooperation in trade, energy, security, and people-to-people ties.
This was their third meeting of the year, highlighting the strengthening bilateral relations under the New Roadmap 2025. Anand expressed condolences for victims of a recent Delhi explosion, and both ministers acknowledged progress in ongoing law-enforcement dialogues and the joint roadmap for cooperation.
Jaishankar praised their collaboration and emphasized rebuilding the India-Canada partnership.
