India Reiterates Strong Bilateral Ties and Friendship with Armenia

New Delhi, Oct 01: India reaffirmed its commitment to a long-standing friendship with Armenia during the latter’s National Day celebrations in New Delhi.

Sibi George, Secretary (West) of the Ministry of External Affairs, highlighted the enduring bilateral ties and recent high-level engagements, including Prime Minister Modi’s meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at the SCO Summit in August.

The two nations are enhancing cooperation across various sectors, such as trade, education, and defense, with discussions on digital technologies and pharmaceuticals.

Notably, bilateral defense cooperation has seen significant progress, focusing on joint ventures and training initiatives.
