Free Buttermilk Distribution Centres opened for Public at Neyveli
New Delhi, May 08: NLC India Limited, from its inception, has always strived to carry out welfare activities for the community at largein all possible ways. As part of this, under its Corporate Social Responsibility Scheme, NLC India Limited has been providing free Buttermilk to the public during the Summer every year.
This year also, free buttermilk distribution centres have been put up at five prominent locations in Neyveli Township.
One such distribution centre at the Arch Gate was inaugurated today, 07.05.25, by Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, CMD, NLCIL, in the presence of Samir Swarup, Director (HR), DVSN Murthy, ED (Legal, CSR and GH), G.SrinivasaBabu, GM(CSR) and other NLCIL officials.
The other four stalls at Central Bus Stand, Pudukuppam Bus Stand, Block-29 Bus Stand and Mandarakuppam Bus Stand were inaugurated today by senior officials of NLC India Limited like Executive Directors, Chief General Managers and General Managers at the respective locations.
This effort aims to provide relief from the summer heat with a refreshing and nutritious beverage and is expected to benefit around 4.50 Lakh people. Apart from Buttermilk, NLCIL will also provide purified Drinking Water in the stalls.
People in and around Neyveli from all walks of life have welcomed this good initiative by the NLCIL management during this hot summer.
