New Delhi, Aug 7: Since yesterday, concocting news in a defamatory manner to NLC India is being deliberately spread in the press and electronic media that some 28 persons have been wrongly given employment in the category of Project Affected Persons (PAPs) in a list of 862 persons, who gave their land and dwelling house during the period 1992 to 2012.
NLC India clarifies that those 28 persons, whose names found from the serial numbers 835 to 862, were given employment under the PAPs category in NLC Barsingsar Mines and Thermal projects, considering their land given to the company’s project in Barsingsar, Rajasthan.
While NLC India being a PAN India company, the persons responsible for spreading the fake news would have misconstrued the matter contrary to the fact.
The intent of the miscreant appears to damage the image of the company among the general public by projecting that NLC India had given employment to unconnected persons under the cover of employment under PAPs category. The information appeared to have been spread to tarnish the image of NLC India and to worsen the present tense milieu the company is passing through. For transparency, the list of 28 persons, who had been given employment in NLC Barsingsar Mines and Thermal Projects in Rajasthan with the place of posting are attached herewith.
