New Delhi, Nov 02: Keeping in line with the directives of Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), Oil India Limited is observing Vigilance Awareness week at the Pipeline Headquarters (PHQ), Narangi, from 31.10.2022 to 06.11.2022.
During the aforesaid period, various events in Online/Offline mode such as Quiz, Drawing & Essay Competition among school students, Quiz, Essay Competition among OIL Executives, Employees & CISF and also Essay competition among Spouses of OIL Employee s & Executives etc. as a part of anti-corruption awareness campaign among the stakeholders is being carried out.

The Vigilance Awareness Week’2022 was inaugurated in Pipeline Headquarter by CGM (PLS), Sri Abhijit Borgohain. Pranjal Pran Bhattacharyya Dy. General Manager (Vigilance) explained the objective in details. Floral tribute was offered to portrait of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel by Chief General Manager (PLS), Chief General Manager (OM, PL & MM), Chief General Manager (HR & Admin),OIEEA Representative, Senior Officials of OIL & CISF Officials present. The inauguration program was carried out in Luitpaar Club.
Audio & video communication on Vigilance Awareness has been shared in Pipeline Employees WhatsApp group with active support from IOWU-Pipeline unit.
Mobile LED Display unit was flagged off by CGM (PLS), which will create awareness against corruption among the citizens of Guwahati City as a part of outreach program.
As a part of vigilance awareness outreach program, there will be Street Plays and a Gram Sabha will be held on 04.11.2022 to create awareness among citizens.
As a part of the awareness campaign, a Webinar was also held by Corporate Office on 31.10.2021 in this year theme “Corruption free India for a Developed Nation”. Former Chief Information Commissioner, Sri Satyananda Mishra, IAS was the resource person.
