New Delhi, Oct 31: NTPC Bongaigaon joined the rest of the nation in observing the National Unity Day (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas) on 31st October, 2022. On the occasion, a run for unity was conducted among the employees, family members and CISF Jawas as the remembrance to the 147th birth anniversary of Sardar Ballabhbhai Patel also known as the Iron Man of India.
The Rastriya Ekta Diwas pledge was administered by Karunakar Das, CGM,NTPC Bongaigaon along with HODs, Employees and CISF Jawans at the Community hall of the station. Floral tributes were also given to the leader by Das. Umesh Singh, GM (O&M), Induri S Reddy, GM (Maintenance), Arunashis Das, GM (Projects), Sanjay Pande, GM (FGD), S.K.Jha,GM (FGD), G M Thangzom, DC,CISF , Kirti Yadav, AC (CISF, Security), representatives of union and associations also joined the program.
More than 100 people participated in the run for unity program conducted at NTPC Bongaigaon.
