A 27-member delegation consisting of officials of Arunachal Pradesh State Hydropower Department and local inhabitants from Arunachal Pradesh visited various NHPC Power Stations on an exposure tour from 23rd February 2020 to 1st March 2020. The delegation had visited Chamera-I, Chamera-II and Chamera-III power stations in Himachal Pradesh and Sewa-II Power Station in Jammu & Kashmir. The visit was an eye opener for the delegates who saw the development ushered in by NHPC in the region of Himachal Pradesh and J&K. The delegates strongly expressed their favour in construction of hydropower projects in Arunachal Pradesh and felt that an enormous period of over 70 years had been lost since independence which could have been utilized in tapping of hydropower projects.
“The tour was an eye opener for us regarding importance of hydropower” said Shri Karma Lera Mosing of Mechuka, Shi-Yumi District, Arunachal Pradesh and he further expressed his strong opinion for construction of hydropower projects in Arunachal Pradesh without further delay. Shri Tap Tapuk, a resident of Kamle District, Arunachal Pradesh expressed his happiness on witnessing the development in Himachal Pradesh due to construction of hydropower projects. He further re-affirmed that he will convince the local people for construction of hydro projects in Arunachal Pradesh. Another member of the delegation, Shri Rakhe Sanjoy of Kamle District, Arunachal Pradesh assured that he would try to convince local people by highlighting the benefits of hydropower.
During their visit, the delegates were briefed about the social, economic, educational and basic infrastructural development works undertaken due to the construction of Hydropower Projects. The members visited various important installations and were briefed about the various activities undertaken under CSR and SD scheme and its benefits to the locals. The delegation also met with the local representatives of NHPC projects. The interaction and the feedback received during the discussion helped in clearing doubts and apprehensions about the concept of hydro projects amongst the delegates.
All the members expressed their satisfaction and happiness for the exposure visit which cleared their doubts and negativity about hydro power projects and thanked NHPC for giving this opportunity. All the delegates wished that upcoming hydro projects in Arunachal Pradesh will add to its prosperity.
अरुणाचल प्रदेश राज्य जलविद्युत विभाग के अधिकारियों तथा अरूणाचल प्रदेश के स्थानीय निवासियों के 27 सदस्यीय प्रतिनिधि मंडल ने 23 फरवरी 2020 से 01 मार्च, 2020 तक एनएचपीसी के पावर स्टेशनों के बारे में जानने हेतु कई पावर स्टेशनों का दौरा किया। इस प्रतिनिधि मंडल ने हिमाचल प्रदेश में स्थित चमेरा-।, चमेरा-।। और चमेरा-।।। तथा जम्मू व कश्मीर के सेवा-।। पावर स्टेशनों का भ्रमण किया। प्रतिनिधि मंडल के सदस्यों ने हिमाचल प्रदेश व जम्मू-कश्मीर क्षेत्र में एनएचपीसी द्वारा किए गए विकास को देखा। उनके लिये यह दौरा बहुत ही ज्ञानवर्धक साबित हुआ। प्रतिनिधि मंडल ने अरूणाचल प्रदेश में जलविद्युत परियोजनाओं के निर्माण के पक्ष में दृढ़ता से अपनी राय रखी और यह महसूस किया कि उन्होंने स्वतंत्रता के बाद 70 से अधिक वर्ष की अवधि व्यर्थ गंवा दी जिसका उपयोग जलविद्युत परियोजनाओं के दोहन में किया जा सकता था।
मेचुका, शी-युमी जिले के श्री कर्मा लेरा मोशिंग ने कहा ‘जलविद्युत का महत्व जानने के बारे में यह दौरा हमारे लिए आंखें खोल देने वाला रहा है’ और उन्होंने अरूणाचल प्रदेश में बिना किसी देरी के जलविद्युत परियोजनाओं के निर्माण के पक्ष में दृढ़ता से अपनी राय रखी। जिला कामले, अरूणाचल प्रदेश के निवासी श्री ताप तापुक ने हिमाचल प्रदेश में जलविद्युत परियोजनाओं के निर्माण से हुए विकास को देखकर अपनी प्रसन्नता व्यक्त की। उन्होंने ज़ोर देकर कहा कि वे अरूणाचल प्रदेश में जलविद्युत परियोजनाओं के निर्माण के प्रति लोगों को समझाएंगे। प्रतिनिधि मंडल के एक अन्य सदस्य जिला कामले, अरूणाचल प्रदेश के रहने वाले, श्री राखे संजोय ने आश्वासन दिया कि वे जलविद्युत के लाभों को रेखांकित करते हुए स्थानीय लोगों को समझाने का प्रयास करेंगे।
इस दौरे के दौरान प्रतिनिधियों को जलविद्युत परियोजनाओं के निर्माण के दौरान किए गए सामाजिक, आर्थिक, शैक्षिक और बुनियादी ढांचागत विकास कार्यों के बारे में जानकारी दी गई। सदस्यों ने विभिन्न महत्वपूर्ण प्रतिष्ठानों का दौरा किया तथा उन्हें स्थानीय लोगों को सीएसआर और एसडी योजना के तहत की गई विभिन्न गतिविधियों और इससे स्थानीय लोगों को होने वाले लाभों के बारे में बताया गया। इस प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने एनएचपीसी परियोजनाओं के स्थानीय प्रतिनिधियों के साथ भी मुलाकात की। चर्चा के दौरान हुई बातचीत और प्रतिक्रिया प्रतिनिधियों के बीच जलविद्युत परियोजनाओं के प्रति संदेह दूर करने में मददगार साबित हुई।
सभी सदस्यों ने इस दौरे से मिली जानकारी पर संतोष व्यक्त किया और अपनी खुशी जाहिर की। इस दौरे ने उनकी शंकाओं को दूर किया और जलविद्युत परियोजनाओं के बारे में उनकी नकारात्मक सोच को बदला। सदस्यों ने इस दौरे का अवसर प्रदान करने के लिए एनएचपीसी को धन्यवाद दिया। सभी सदस्यों ने कामना की कि आगामी जलविद्युत परियोजनाओं से अरूणाचल प्रदेश की समृद्धि बढ़ेगी।
