REC was conferred with the “Fastest Growing Navratna” award at India Today PSUs awards ceremony. The award was received by Rajeev Sharma, CMD, REC from Piyush Goyal, Minister of State with Independent Charge for Power, Coal, New and Renewable Energy and Ravi Shankar Prasad, Minister of Communications and IT.
REC’s wholly owned subsidiary REC Transmission Projects Company Limited was also awarded the “Fastest Growing PSU” in “Other PSUs” category.
The award function witnessed the presence of esteemed dignitaries from several public sectororganisations.
