S.K.Acharya, Director(HR), NLC inaugurated the Hindi Fortnight celebrations at the Learning and Development centre, Block-20, on 14/09/2015 and read out the message from Rajnath Singh, Home Minister of State , GOI, . In his chief guest address stressed the need for learning Hindi by quoting the message from our Home Minister. He further expressed his happiness over the overwhelming response from the employees as the auditorium was to its full capacity for the inaugural function.
Government of India promulgated implementation of Official Language Act on 14th September, 1949. To mark this occasion, Hindi Pakwada, is being celebrated every year in all Central Government Offices and in Govt. of India undertakings.
Like every year, NLC celebrated this event in a grand manner. A large number of enthusiastic participants took part in the inaugural function. The gathering was welcomed by Shri P. Sathya Murthy, Dy.General Manager/HR.
The message sent by Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of State(i/c) for Power, Coal and new& renewable energy was read out by Subir Das Director(Mines), V. Thangapandian, Director (Power) read out the message from Anil Swarup, Secretary, Ministry of Coal and S.Boopathy, Director(P&P) felicitated.
To Mark the Occasion Prizes were distributed to the employees who secured top Three places in the various Hindi Correspondence Courses.
