To maintain a very healthy competitive spirit and facilitate sharing of creative solutions with others Annual NTPC Convention of Quality Circles (NQCC) is being organized at NTPC Faridabad on 14th and 15th March, 2015. Dr. Arup Roy Choudhury , CMD will inaugurate the event .
Teams from different regions will be participating creating total involvement and exuberance in the Quality Circle Movement. Best Quality Circle shall be awarded and become eligible to participate in an International QC event.
After NTPC developed strong performance culture by constructing and operating power stations at a very high plant load factor (PLF), it was opportune to launch Total quality Management (TQM) initiatives in the organisation. Quality Circles provided a platform to NTPC workmen to sit together in groups periodically to identify work related problems and provide innovative solutions.
Quality Circle movement has enhanced personality, enriched their confidence and improved their analytical and presentation skills of the workmen.
