पंजाब नैशनल बैंक दिनांक 26.10.2015 से 31.10.2015 तक “सतर्कता जागरूकता सप्ताह 2015”का आयोजन कर रहा है।
दिनांक 27.10.2015 को बैंक के प्रधान कार्यालय में एक समारोह का आयोजन किया गया। बैंक की एमडी एवं सीईओ श्रीमती उषा अनन्तसुब्रह्मण्यन ने बैंक के कामकाज में सुशासन के साधन के रूप में निवारक सतर्कता का उपयोग कर भ्रष्टाचार के गंभीर खतरे से निपटने की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया।

समारोहकेमुख्यअतिथि श्री टी एम भसीन, माननीय सतर्कता आयुक्त, सीवीसी ने बैंक के शीर्ष अधिकारियों और वरिष्ठ प्रबंधन को संबोधित किया। उन्होंने निवारक सतर्कता पर अपने विचारों को साझा किया और सहभागियों को केंद्रीय सतर्कता आयोग द्वारा उठाए गए कदमों के विषय में अवगत कराया। उन्होंने अधिकारियों को बिना किसी भय के तथा निर्धारित प्रणालियों और प्रक्रियाओं के भीतर कार्य करने का सुझाव दिया। उन्होंने इस बात को दोहराया कि सतर्कता प्रणाली इस तथ्य से आसक्त है कि यदि बैंक वृद्धि कर रहे हैं तो अर्थव्यवस्था भी वृद्धि की ओर जा रही है और इस प्रकार उन्होंने दुर्भावनापूर्ण कार्रवाई और सद्भावनापूर्ण कारोबारी निर्णय के बीच अंतर करने के लिए कहा| अतः, सभी को सकारात्मक मानसिकता के साथ कार्य करना चाहिए।
उन्होंने इस अवसर पर बैंक के सतर्कता विभाग द्वारा प्रकाशित की गई गृहपत्रिका “पीएनबी विजिल” का विमोचन किया।

Punjab National Bank is observing “Vigilance Awareness Week 2015” from 26.10.2015 to 31.10.2015.
A function was organised on 27.10.2015 at the HO of the bank. Smt. Usha Ananthasubramanian, MD & CEO, deliberated upon the need to address the menace of corruption using preventive vigilance as a tool of good governance in bank’s functioning.
The theme for this year’s Vigilance Awareness Week is ‘Preventive Vigilance as a tool of Good Governance’’ as advised by the Central Vigilance Commission.
T M Bhasin, Vigilance Commissioner, CVC, the Chief Guest of the function, addressed the Top Executives and Senior Management Officials of the Bank. He shared his views on Preventive Vigilance and apprised the participants about the initiatives taken by the Central Vigilance Commission. He suggested the officials to work without any fear and within the prescribed systems and procedures. He reiterated that vigilance system is enamoured of the fact that if the banks are growing the economy is growing & as such asked to differentiate between malafide action and bonafide business decision. Therefore, everybody should work with a positive mindset. He also released in – house magazine titled “PNB Vigil” brought out on the occasion by the Vigilance Department of the Bank.
