New Delhi, Jan 27: R.K. Vishnoi, CMD, NHPC, R. P. Goyal, Director (Finance), NHPC, R.K. Chaudhary, Director (Technical and Projects) and other senior officials from Corporate Office visited Subansiri Project on 24 and 25 January, 2024. CMD, NHPC along with the Director (Finance) and Director (Technical and Project) inspected various under-construction sites of the project like dam, power house and other sites.
They were apprised about the progress of the matter was given by Rajendra Prasad, Executive Director, SLHEP. CMD, NHPC appreciated the work and progress so far and reiterated the country’s commitment to complete the very ambitious Subansiri project on time. Thereafter, a project review meeting was held with all the big contractors associated with the project construction under the chairmanship of the CMD, NHPC.
During the meeting, the progress of the construction works and the problems being faced in the construction works were discussed in detail so that the project could be commissioned on time. Director (Finance), Director (Projects), Executive Directors from Coporate Office and and Executive Director of Subansiri Project Rajendra Prasad along with all the heads of departments of the project were also present in the meeting. During the meeting, the CMD, NHPC expressed satisfaction over the progress of the work and said that the project should be completed as soon as possible.
