The 69^th Republic Day was celebrated at DVC HQs Kolkata and all DVC power stations across West Bengal and Jharkhand with fanfare. Shri A.W.K Langstieh, Chairman DVC unfurled the national flag. He said that DVC has been playing an important role since 1948 by contributing to the Indian power sector and will continue to do so to the robust economic growth of the country by being the preferred power utility.

He said that India is an emerging global economic power and DVC as a power major is all set to partner with this new and emerging India. He added that to achieve this excellence all DVCians should strive for continuous improvement and commitment in their day to day work.
