RailTel holds 24rd Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Annual Report of the Company for the financial year 2023-24 presented at the meeting

Resolution for the payment of interim dividend for the financial year 2023-24 and declaration of Final Dividend for the FY 2023-24 of Rs. 1.85 per share (18.5% of paid-up share capital) was passed.

New Delhi, Aug 22: 24th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of RailTel Corporation of India Ltd., a Mini Ratna CPSU under Ministry of Railways was held on 21stAugust, 2024 through Video Conferencing.Chairman & Managing Director, RailTel Sanjai Kumar addressed the AGM. The Annual Report of the Company for the financial year 2023-24 was presented at the meeting.

Members of RailTel board, V Rama Manohara Rao (Director/Finance), Manoj Tandon (Director/ Project, Operations & Maintenance) and Yashpal Singh Tomar (Director / Network Planning & Marketing), Rameshwar Meena (Govt Nominee Director), Ranjit Kumar (Govt Nominee Director) and N. Manoharan (Part- time Non-Official Director/ Independent Director) were present during the meeting.

A Resolution for the payment of interim dividend for the financial year 2023-24 and declaration of Final Dividend for the FY 2023-24 of Rs. 1.85 per share (18.5% of paid-up share capital) was passed during this AGM. Talking about the results, Sanjai Kumar, Chairman and Managing Director of RailTel said, “For the year ended on 31/03/2024, the company achieved a total Income of Rs 2622 crores and total PAT of Rs. 246 crores registering a growth of 31% in turnover and profits, as compared to last year.

Our growth over the year has been consistent and forfinancial year 2023-24 also the 31% growth in Revenue & PAT has been quite encouraging.  With healthy order book, the company has visibility of substantial growth in operating Income in coming quarters”.
