Duliajan, 8thJune 2021:Continuing its commitment towards ensuring healthcare and community welfare in operational areas, Oil India Limited (OIL) handed over a Maruti EECO Ambulance vehicle at a cost of Rs. 8.18 Lakh (Rupees Eight Lakh Eighteen Thousand Only) under CSR to Tengakhat MG Model Hospital, Tengakhat. The ambulance was ceremoniously handed over by OIL officials to the hospital management in a brief ceremony held on 7th June 2021 maintaining COVID-19 protocols.
From OIL, the handing over ceremony was attended by Shri Tridiv Hazarika, DGM (CSR & CC) OIL & Shri Pranjal Neog, Sr. Manager (PA) OIL and Dr.KulenCh Borgohain (SDM & HO), Dr. P. N Sonowal (Deputy Superintendent) and Dr. Pranjal Kr. Sarmah from Tengakhat MG Model Hospital.
“Considering the ongoing second wave of COVID-19 pandemic that has become a challenge for the healthcare sector, OIL is trying to extend a helping hand to strengthen the health infrastructure of Tengakhat MG Model Hospital. The Ambulance will help Tengakhat MG Model Hospital which is also a 24×7 delivery point for providing emergency healthcare services for the people from Tengakhat, Panitola, SissiaBokuloni and beyond areas” said Shri Tridiv Hazarika, DGM (CSR & CC), OIL.
