Bongaigaon, March 04: NTPC Bongaigaon observed the 55th National Safety Day with a series of initiatives aimed at reinforcing safety awareness and strengthening adherence to operational protocols across departments.
The programme commenced with the unfurling of the Safety Flag and administration of the Safety Pledge by Head of Project Arnab Maitra, who underscored strict compliance with safety standards in plant operations.
Senior officials, including GM (O&M) Anurag Gupta and CISF representatives, reiterated the collective responsibility of employees and contract workers in ensuring a secure workplace.
The observance featured knowledge-sharing sessions on best safety practices, hazard identification and proactive risk mitigation measures. Safety awards and competitions were also organised to recognise exemplary adherence to safety norms.
With participation from over 200 employees, CISF personnel and associates, the initiative reflects NTPC Bongaigaon’s continued emphasis on safety culture and operational excellence.
