NLCIL PROVIDES NEW WALKWAY FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC – ENHANCING THE LIVES OF RESIDENTS

New Delhi, June 30: NLCIL, under the dynamic leadership of its CMD, Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, envisions a healthy lifestyle and a peaceful life for its employees both at the workplace and at their places of residences in the township by providing walkways, parks, green space and other facilities.

It is worth mentioning that Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, CMD, had undertaken surprise visits to the residential areas of Neyveli Township to get first-hand knowledge of the community facilities available for employees and their family members.

Following his guidance and initiatives, facilities for promoting a healthy lifestyle for the employees and their families have been envisaged.

As part of this, a new walkway was inaugurated by C. Thiagaraju, Executive Director (HR), today (28.06.2023), in the presence of A. Kuppusami, CGM (Township Administration). K. Ganesan, GM, Health, TA, M. Subba Rao, GM, Horticulture, TA, officials from Township Administration and the general public participated in the event.

The Walkway has been made for a total length of 300 metres with 10 feet width using paver blocks for a value of 10 lakhs. The walkway is open and will be useful for the general public especially those residing around the Block-13 area.

It is proposed to further develop the same into a full-fledged park including play area for children and fitness equipment for adults.

NLCIL believes that a healthy lifestyle and a peaceful living environment will go a long way in ensuring a productive life for employees and their families. This new walkway is a reflection of this belief system.
