New Delhi, Aug 23: NLC India Limited (NLCIL) is continuously taking efforts to Up-Skill and Re-Skill its workforce by designing Skill Upgradation programs through reputed firms to cope up with industry changes, career advancement and to foster a culture of continuous learning.

For FY:2023-24 & FY:2024-25 Up-Skilling training program on Welding and Pneumatics & Hydraulics were organized at Amara Raja Skill Development Centre (ARSDC), Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh covering 47 Employees of Mines & Thermal Units to meet the invention and introduction of new technology to enhance productivity and to reduce delays in maintenance activities.

The successful trainees of Skill Upgradation training program were awarded certificate on 21-08-2024 by SAMIR SWARUP/Director (Human Resources), NLCIL in a function held at Yegneswaran Auditorium, Learning & Development Centre, Neyveli.

VIVEKANANDAN.S/CGM/UnitHead/Mine-I, Vanchinathan.T /CGM/Unit Head/TPS-II, MURUGESAN.N/GM/Maintenance/TPS-I Expn., JOHN ARUL SORNARAJ.P/GM/O&M/NNTPP, Sivaraj.M /GM/HR/ Thermal Units, also graced the occasion. SARAVANABHAVANA Kr Unit Head/L&D presided over the function.

These Up-Skilling training programs will surely facilitate NLCIL’s employees to acquire the necessary skill sets in the jobs being carried out and this in turn will be beneficial to the organization in terms of productivity, reduced downtime of equipments / machineries, increased production and in improving the overall safety standards.
