NLC INDIA LIMITED CONFERRED WITH THE FIRST PRIZE OF “RAJBHASHA SHIELD” FOR THE YEAR 2023-24 BY MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS, GOVERNMENT OF INDIA
New Delhi, Jan 02: NLC India Limited, a Navratna Government of India Public Sector Enterprise under the Coal Ministry of Government of India, was conferred with the first prize of “Rajbhasha Shield” for the year 2023-24 by the Town Official Language Implementation Committee, Department of Official Language, Ministry of Coal.
The “Rajbhasha Shield” is awarded to the best organisations from among Central Government Offices, PSUs, Banks and Schools for exemplary work in the implementation of Official Language under different categories. The awards are evaluated by Town Official Language Implementation Committees based on the reports submitted by the Member Offices, TOLIC which has 60 offices around Puducherry as member.
This year, NLCIL was conferred with the prestigious “I Prize – Rajbhasha Shield” for the year 2023-24 in recognition of the Best Performance of Official Language Implementation.
The Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC) JIPMER, Puducherry organised the Award Ceremony on 30.12.2024 at the Mini Auditorium, Academic Centre, JIPMER during the Valedictory Function of Hindi Fortnight. Sri Rakesh Agarwal, Director (JIPMER) and Chairman, Town Official Language Implementation Committee, Puducherry was the chief guest while ManjhuRahi, Director, VCRC- ICMRI graced the occasion.
The award was received by Hindi Officer, NLCIL during the award ceremony. Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, CMD, NLCIL and Samir Swarup, Director/HR, NLCIL appreciated and congratulated Chief General Manager/HR, the In-Charge of Hindi Cell, Hindi Officers and all the Hindi Staff for achieving remarkable achievement in the field of Official Language implementation.
This Recognition is testament to NLCIL’s unparalleled commitment in implementing the official language in all aspects including imparting Hindi Knowledge to the employees, complying with the Official Language Act & Rules in an exemplary manner and being a role model among Coal Companies.
