New Delhi, Dec 15: NLC India Renewables Limited (NIRL) and PTC India Limited signed a Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) on December 12, 2025, in Neyveli.
This follows a prior Memorandum of Understanding dated September 8, 2025. The JVC will focus on establishing and maintaining renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, hydro, and other technologies, aiming for a total capacity of 2000 MW, with the first phase targeting 500 MW.
This collaboration will leverage the strengths of both organizations in project development, power trading, and integrated green energy solutions, following the provisions of the Electricity Act for sales to DISCOMs and other consumers.
